Medical Doctor, specialized in neonatology at the National University of Buenos Aires. Postgraduate in Perinatology from the National Institute of Perinatology, Mexico City. She was a member of the Environmental Education group of Fundación Vida Silvestre Argentina (FVSA). She is a founding member and presides over the Association of Physicians for the Environment (AAMMA). Among other important acknowledgements, she has been awarded the UNEP GLOBAL 500 Prize.
